how to knit fingerless gloves with thumb gusset PT1

this is my first ever kniiting video and it recorded it on my phone so i apollogize for the quality and the movements. here is the basic pattern with how i did it in (_): pattern: -co 24 sts ( or however manyy you need since i used a chucky weight i didnt need very many) -knit a 2×2 ribbing (i started with knit first) -work the rib untill you are happy with the length(i worked 12 rows) -knit 2 to 4 rows of stock (again since i used chunky, i only needed 2 rows) -place 2 markers in the middle of your work leaving 2 sts between them (k11,pm,k2,pm,k11 for 24sts) -knit stock back and forth every other row incresing the first and last sts untill you reach 12 sts between markers(depending on the yarn wieght it might be different) -on a knit row, knit till first marker, drop marker, put all middle sts on st holder, drop marker,cast 2 sts back on (in place of held stitches), knit the rest -knit stock for at least 2 more rows (measure over thumb if needed) -begin 2×2 ribbing untill desired length(usually untill knuckles) -cast off LOOSE -measure on your hand(unsewn) and see how long you would want your thumb -pick up sts from holder,join yarn, and knit stock for needed rows,increasing first and last sts as desired(i increased first row,purl 2nd,cast off loose) -turn inside out and sew together hand up first then thumb -weave in ends HOW CAST VIDEO:www.youtube.com
